Meet Ruth - The Heart Behind YCIOP

My name is S. Ruth Clery-Wells, and caring for seniors has always been close to my heart. I began my journey as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), where I spent more than 10 years working directly with clients and building relationships that changed my life.

Many of the seniors I cared for encouraged me to pursue nursing as a career because they saw the love and dedication I put into my work. I took their advice and followed that path, earning degrees in both Nursing and Public Administration from the University of Central Oklahoma (UCO).

For me, working with seniors is more than just a job. It is my calling. I believe every senior deserves not only excellent care, but also to feel heard, valued, and connected to a sense of purpose. That belief is the foundation of everything we do at YCIOP Home Care.
