Meet Our Founder — Ruth Clery Wells, RN
YCIOP Home Care LLC was founded by Ruth Clery Wells, RN, whose calling to care for others grew from a longstanding desire to serve older adults, individuals recovering from illness or injury, and families navigating changing care needs.
With a background in nursing and healthcare administration, Ruth understands that quality care requires more than completing tasks or providing a clinical service. It requires listening carefully, recognizing changes, communicating with families and healthcare professionals, protecting dignity, and understanding the person behind the care need.
Her vision for YCIOP was to create an organization where people could receive dependable, individualized care while families could feel informed, respected, and supported.
Today, YCIOP provides care through two connected branches: YCIOP Home Care, offering non-medical assistance with everyday living, and YCIOP Home Health, providing skilled healthcare services for individuals whose needs require professional clinical care.
Although the services may differ, the standard remains the same: every person deserves to be treated with dignity, compassion, respect, and professionalism.

Ruth's vision was to create more than a service that simply sends someone into a home. She wanted YCIOP to recognize the whole person—their health, independence, routines, preferences, dignity, and the people who care about them.
That vision continues to shape YCIOP today.
Some individuals need skilled nursing or therapy following an illness, surgery, injury, or hospitalization. Others may need assistance with personal care, companionship, meals, transportation, or everyday activities. Sometimes those needs change over time.
YCIOP was created to help families navigate those changes with a connected approach to care, while recognizing that skilled home health and non-medical home care have different roles and responsibilities.
Our purpose is simple: to provide thoughtful care that helps people remain as safe, comfortable, informed, and independent as possible while giving families a trusted partner along the way.
